  1. The Fediverse Stats Paradox

    Reading Time: < 1 minute

The more I use WordPress, and the more they change the UI, the more I want to dump it. These stats, instead of encouraging me to use wordpress, and the fediverse, encourage me to dump both.

Blogging shouldn’t be about metrics, it should be about the development of thoughts and ideas, and the occassional feedback. These stats turn blogging and writing into accounting. I don’t want to see disengagement quantified. I want positive signals, and here I only see negative signals.

  22. Working List: Tallest water towers (wassertürme) of Austria

Listed below is information that could be found on the internet for the tallest water towers (wassertürme) in Austria. Unfortunately, the data is limited, so the height for just 11 towers is available.

Despite the relatively short list, the water towers shown below are quite impressive. Given that much of Austria is quite mountainous, the number of towers will tend to be reduced as hillside/mountainside reservoirs may be employed in places with steep/varied terrain.

A minimum of 10 meters in height was required for inclusion. As more information is found, the working list will be updated.

    Peace!

    Peace!
