Headed up to a town called Descanso today. The Wildwood Glen trail, actually an old highway section, looked like an opportunity to see some hairstreak #butterflies and put some pins in a new place for me.
Well I saw a lot of Blues, but almost no Hairstreaks. My last observation was a Goldhunters Hairstreak. The drive wasn’t as bad as expected though, and the trail is pretty good. I may go back. -
So I am sitting on the front porch, trying to get some estate stuff accomplished. And listening on my ham radio to two guys out of Stone Mountain talking about the finer points of grilling on a Big Green Egg. (it’s a snazzy type of Charcoal grill.) This guy comes along and tries to tempt me away from my chores.
