I’m in Darwin this week, meeting new people and critters on Larrakia country. This is a yellow-striped flutterer (Rhyothemis variegata), near Rapid Creek

This cockroach I can get to genus level, however – it's Ectobius.
But distinguishing E vittiventris & E pallidus, both common around here, is difficult without a microscopic examination.
Both are harmless & live outdoors. They can fly however, & sometimes enter houses by accident, attracted by lights.
