I started this sketchbook spread during my vacations this summer, and just finished painting it now. I used gouache and colouring pencils. 😊

Näistä koivutukeista piti tulla polttopuita - kunnes ne eivät kelvanneet enää edes poltettaviksi, jäivät maahan kuorineen talveksi.
Ei hätää. Puusta voi aina tehdä käyttö- tai koriste-esineitä. Tässä Teppo-kissan pajalta kaksi massiivipuista kissa-kirjahyllyä. Toisessa on vielä pieni hiiri kylkiäisenä.
Koivussa laho tekee marmorin kaltaisia kuvioita. Laho pysähtyy kun puu kuivuu, käsitellään ja pehmeät kohdat kovetetaan. Kun puusta pidetään huolta ja sitä arvostetaan, se on ikuista.
Tässä kaksi prototyyppiä joista ainakin toisen myyn viimeistään jouluna. Veistokseen voi asettaa lampun tai se voi toimia pyöreänä kirjahyllynä esim. pöydällä. Ottakaa viestillä yhteyttä jos kiinnostaa. Kissojen kanssa tulee raportti työstä, työkaluista ja materiaaleista. Pohjaan tulee signeeraus poltettuna.
Työ liittyy uuteen projektiini, jossa pohditaan nykyisiä rahan avulla tapahtuvia kirjanpitomenetelmiä - kuinka vaillinaisia ja suppeita ne ovat. Jos työn ja materiaalin, eli alkutuotannon hyödyt ja haitat ja kaikki vaikutukset otetaan huomioon, puhutaan uudesta laajemmasta kirjanpidosta. Silloin ei ole enää kaikkein kannattavinta tuottaa, nopeasti, standardisoitua bulkkia, ja koko tehokkuusyhteiskunnan normit voivat painua unholaan. Laaja kirjanpito ottaa huomioon ihmisten fyysisen ja henkisen hyvinvoinnin, ja sen, että kaikille elollisille mahdollistettaisiin merkityksellinen yhteiselämä - ei vain keskinäiseen kilpailuun pakotetuille ihmisille.

Renfrew Ravine Park | Meet at Renfrew Ravine Labyrinth."Join Still Moon for another round of basket weaving and stewardship at the Mid Ravine site! We’ve removed nearly 80% of the English ivy ground cover and are aiming to complete or come close to finishing it during this session. We'll spend the first hour and a half removing ivy and other invasive species, followed by an hour of relaxing basket weaving. Come lend a hand in caring for this special site—and take home a handmade basket! We'll return in the fall to plant a rich mix of native species."
