So, I was talking #Castlevania with a friend of mine, and telling her about how cool Shanoa is.
I'll admit, Order of Ecclesia is my favourite game in the franchise.
But I can't believe I had totally forgotten about this absolute gem of a line from the game.
10/10. Absolute bad-ass.Perhaps it does help that it is a clear reference to Castlevania 2: Simon's Quest, another one of my all-time favourite Castlevania games.

For today's letter "C", I will go with #Castlevania . Since I was a kid with an 8-bit Nintendo console, I was (and still) amazed with the lore in the bootleg and how the authors developed the current franchise just starting with the art on the box, some animated graphics, dialogs between bosses and ending sequences.
Today it has its own style and turned into a legend!

CW: Spoilers for Harmony of Dissonance (and a bit of SotN)
I absolutely love the A+B castle system. I just got access to the second half of it, and it is so awesome when you realize that part of the trip you've already traversed a part of each castle.
Honestly, without having progressed much more, I think it works better than SotN's gimmick, because it's introduced way sooner so it feels organic to the progress of the game rather than "oh, you thought you had already finished the game? You were just half way through!”
So yeah, I'm having an awesome time. Also, I think I had already finished this game ages ago, but I had forgotten all about it, even the fact that I had played it 😂

Turns out that I had mixed up my Castlevania names... The one I had started was Aria of Sorrow - Order is a DS game! - and as it happens it's been shorter than expected... I finished it with the good ending in 5 1/2 hours, so I'm left with hunger for more, so I'm moving on to Harmony of Dissonance!

And with the forgotten one boss fight defeated, #CastlevaniaLordsOfShadow is done, while there are some rougher parts, the whole is still extremely enjoyable for those seeking a God of War style experience,
Also HOW APPROPRIATE GAME, THEN AVOID FUNCTIONING LIKE A COW!

Started watching #CyberpunkEdgerunners tonight and the first scene is straight out of the game. Yeah, this will be fun.
Also, I realized I am woefully out of date on what’s cool in the world of #Anime these days. Hit me with those recommendations as I’ve seen #Akira, a handful of #DragonBallZ episodes, and like one episode of #AttackOnTitan. Maybe a few others here and there but it’s never been something I’ve truly tried to get into.
I have #Arcane and #Castlevania on the list already but most of my animated shows are the classics like #Archer, #BeavisAndButthead, #DarkwingDuck, etc…

One nice thing about the DLC is that the puzzles are actual puzzles, the ones in the base game were way too easy to be enjoyable

The more I think about it, the more I find it a little bit funny that despite being near death the warriors of the order have still enough strength to write their final thoughts, I get it that it's supposed to be like in sci-fi immersive sims with the recordings, but to write things down is completely different from talking to a recorder
