Then there's the empathetic side of my brain trying to justify the existence of generated art. "Oh, it's a nice tool for someone who can't draw and wants a character portrait for their D&D character!" Or any number of similar arguments that sound like nice, harmless things. But they're not harmless. I see the damage this shit causes.

I just spoke to someone at Claims Hero and they sound legit. I’m going to sign up with them; it can’t hurt! She’s sending me a link to one of their actions that was just filed on behalf of other authors so I can get a better idea of what they’re doing.

Cases are contingency based. I honestly don’t care about the money as much as I care about giving AI companies hell.
