After #KrampusNight comes #StNicholasDay, celebrating the arrival of St. Nicholas on December 6 who brings gifts to children. St. Nick is, of course, the precursor to the modern-day Santa Claus, so for the #BeerAdventCalendar pick of the day we commemorate the holiday with a Santa-themed #beer—Bad Santa Cascadian Dark Ale from Oregon’s #PelicanBrewing.

Tonight is #KrampusNight, taking place on the even of #StNicholasDay, in which beastly #Krampus accompanies St. Nick to punish misbehaving children as Nicholas rewards the well-behaved. It’s only fitting to select an #AdventCalendar beer to commemorate #Krampusnacht, so today we visit New Jersey’s #SevenTribesmenBrewery to enjoy the brewery’s Krampusz, a spiced winter ale.

@penfount Here’s one of my favorites from the 2024 Inkvent calendar. This one definitely a candidate for a full bottle.
Day 8 is Marley, a purple gray with some amazing chromatography with a rose hue and a vivid teal making an appearance.
Swatches are made on Canson, cold press 140lb watercolor paper with a brass Kakimori nib. I’m using a self-inking stamp from Midori that has an oil based ink. My wife spotted this stamp at a Kinokuniya Portland visit.
