Ich habe mir auch das optische Laufwerk für die #PS5Pro gekauft, nachdem es nach Monaten endlich wieder zu normalen Preisen verfügbar war und ich bin grundsätzlich großer Freund von physischen Datenträgern, sowohl für #Filme als auch für #Spiele.
Trotzdem muss man wohl eingestehen, dass physische Medien im Zeitalter von Day-1-Patches nutzlos geworden sind und man wenig Freude an einem Spiel hat, das man Jahre später von der Disk installiert nachdem alle Store-Server mit den Patches schon abgeschaltet sind. Mal ganz davon abgesehen, dass man für viele Spiele ohnehin einen Account beim Hersteller braucht.
Die einzig praktikable Lösung scheinen mir Spiele-Backups auf USB-Festplatten zu sein, auch wenn sich diese dann wahrscheinlich nur auf der Konsole wiederherstellen lassen, auf der sie erstellt wurden. 🤔
