I think one thing that makes #xQc and #Destiny admirable streamers to me is that unlike others who are either straight up grifters (whether that be ideologically like #Hasanabi or trolling and tricking viewers for clout like #Mizkif) is that they both stand up to bullies and dont let people control them. They barely ever back down, hardly apologize since there’s usually either nothing to apologize, or they’re truly not sorry.

I feel like one could say the same about the left today, there aren't too many prominent left wing commentators that see too decent to me. I'm guessing it's a sad artifact of the degradation of modern political discourse (case in point, the biggest left wing political commentator in my generation might be #Hasanabi. He's huge, but an intellectual child IMHO) since you otherwise wouldn't see a decrease in intellect on both sides.
It's important to note that the era you're talking about, the #IntellectualDarkWeb, I believe probably occurred because the left used to debate each other constantly, so they had to be sharp and on their toes or get laughed at by the entire internet. Nowadays, the left and the right hides in their echo chambers and don't need to depend their positions as well anymore. -

No wonder #Hasanabi keeps tryna stir the pot with #TimPool, he's chasing the debate bro clout without being an actual debate bro. I don't think that'll work indefinitely tho; spend enough time in debate bro culture and decline a debate, and you'll be frowned upon instantly and lose credibility.
