At least in my little precinct room way too many old people are still placing hope in democratic norms and are playing like everything is still politics as usual.

These people think Klobuchar is great, and that #abolishICE is way to radical. It was a disappointing night in that regard

A long day today.

After work and an early dinner, my partner and I went with a couple friends to the precinct caucuses tonight at a nearby neighborhood high school. This is where the party platform starts in our election system here in Minnesota.

The foyer of this high school is lined with flags from nations around the world. And along one wall is a huge banner reading “Justice Unity Respect”.

These should be universal words taught regardless of party affiliation.
