Just a reminder in this #elections season, campaigns get the biggest bang-for-the-buck from person-to-person canvassing; followed by person-to-person phone calls. These two campaign tactics yield the highest percentage lift in voter activation. Text messaging follows, presuming ‘warm lists’, and is cheap. Though a lower percentage lift, broadcast SMS ‘get-out-the-vote” (GOTV) reminders are cheap and have a high ROI. Digital ads have a lower percentage lift & a lower ROI.
