I've just published a silly setting for #RisusRPG games. It's a variant of Dan Suptic's Super-Happy-Go-Go-Fun-Time-All-World-Speedy-Good-Delivery-Service-Special-Force-Delta-Five.
I've run several fun games using Dan's setting, but was increasingly uncomfortable with the Mr. Kuri-kana-suro-san character, so my variant replaces him with a Yorkshireman named Horace Wainwright.

The more I read and explore #LancerRPG, the more I want to run a full campaign of it. It scratches so many creative itches. Frankly, I am very burned out with GMing fantasy. I like the genre enough, just not as a GM.
Big stompy mecha in an original setting really sounds great.

CW: Spoilers for Alien RPG starter set adventure
Last night we finished Chariot of the Gods, the adventure in the #Alien starter set.
There were three survivors. They agreed to set the ship's self-destruct, then escape in the emergency escape vehicle. One of them (Miller) betrayed the others, leaving them on the ship while he escaped.
It was at this point that Miller revealed himself to be a synthetic. He'd managed to go the whole scenario without being discovered. He left them to die because they were infected, and he couldn't allow the infection to spread.
Both the rules and the adventure are very good. We all had fun, and it had the feel of an Alien film.

I ran my first game of #Lancer today. I love this game. Operation: Solstice Rain is a great intro module, and it is very customizable.
As someone who likes D&D 4e, wargames, and stompy mechs, this game scratches all the itches!

Getting prepped for a #Lancer game in the near future. Recreating digital maps on hex paper is a chore, but this turned out okay. Perfectly fine for my needs. Ready for some stompy mech action.

I love #DnD. I have been playing since 1985 (I know, I am an old GenXer.) through all editions from BX/BECMI to #DnD5E. But with all the ongoing shenanigans with WotC/Hasbro over the last few years, I decided to start running and supporting #TalesOfTheValiant and #KoboldPress. I really like their take on D&D 5E in #ToV. It is backwards/sideways compatible, which makes all my old books still usable. If you are searching for an alternative (and there are many), I recommend this one.

Couldn't sleep last night, so I was just browsing indie #ttrpg games on #DriveThruRPG. Hit this mashup of cosmic horror, and stargate using #BasicRoleplaying that seemed pretty groovy. Got kind of excited. Then got deflated because of #AI art. All too common pattern lately. #BRP #NotDnD

Been on the fence about 7th Sea's 2nd edition #ttrpg for a while. The gnashing of teeth around it's mechanics have made me question whether it's right for me.

We have Rats in the Walls, Broken Compass, Eriandor, Broken Tales, Liminal, Vaesen, Candela Obscura, Virgins and Vixens (that's me, I have proposed a Virgins and Vixens game)...
And I find it awesome. I like how Spanish TTRPG enviorement accept DnD but do not limit themselves. -
