After a restless sleepless night of pain and discomfort, the old man drags his breathless lifeless corpse out of a sunken bed of jagged shards of thorny rocky glass and steel, unable to yet see or function he drags his rigamortis laden corpse across the floor to prepare his coffee, as his hands shake and tremble he pours in the water and counts the scoops of grind then after fumbling he manages to plug in the percolator, as the coffee begins to perc he shuffles off to the toilet where in a hungerous ragging fit his bowels bellow out, as he blankly stares off into the abyss his reflection in the mirror shows his disheveled hair and beard, to tired to care he stumbles back to his bed, he struggles to pull on his pants he slips on his slippers and pours a cup of coffee then gently packs scraps of tobacco into his pipe, he steps out the door as the sun struggles to rise above the trees, the morning air is mild with a hint of fall while humid, as the world begins to wake not a soul notices nor cares for the hellish existence the old man is forced to endure yet another day;

"It was mathematics, the non-empirical science par excellence, wherein the mind appears to play only with itself, that turned out to be the science of sciences, delivering the key to those laws of nature and the universe that are concealed by appearances."

"Anger, as we have said, is eager to punish; and that such a desire should exist in man’s peaceful breast is least of all according to his nature; for human life is founded on benefits and harmony and is bound together into an alliance for the common help of all, not by terror, but by love towards one another."
-
"The attempt to separate everything from everything else is not only not in good taste but also shows that a man is utterly uncultivated and unphilosophical. The complete separation of each thing from all is the utterly final obliteration of all discourse. For our power of discourse is derived from the interweaving of the classes or ideas with one another."

Most people remember **The Monkey and the Wedge** as a warning against interfering in things we don't understand.
But the **Panchatantra** (and the **Hitopadesha**) takes the story much further, exploring ambition, diplomacy, leadership and human psychology through the debate between Karataka and Damanaka.

Of course, in a system where everything is distributed and there's no other way to live, men expect a universal necessary minimum to be met. That's not even good, it's just not terrible.

Systemic Racism, Individual Responsibility: Why Black Positivity Triggers White Rage
Bustling street scene of Black Wall Street’s shops, theaters, and businesses in early 20th centuryLast week, I wrote an article about the Black family—specifically the enduring institution of the Black family reunion. It was a celebration of culture, resilience, tradition, and community. It was not an indictment of white people, nor did it mention systemic racism or historical atrocities. It was simply a quiet, intentional affirmation of Black life.
Yet, a predictable pattern struck again.
In the comment section of the facebook post used to promote the article, a few readers lashed out with visceral, unprovoked hostility. One reader insisted I needed to “teach the Black family some good parenting skills” and asserted that “the only people holding back Black people from success are Black people.” All mind you without reading the article. All this from the promotional post. When I pushed back by listing foundational Black inventions that shaped modern American life, another reader jumped in with outright rage, claiming that Black people are “a race without any meaningful accomplishments” and that “Black Wall Street is a made-up lie… it was a dirt road average Black town.”
Notice what happened there: I never brought up Black Wall Street.
He did. Out of nowhere. Unprompted.
That unprompted reaction reveals something critical. He didn’t bring up Tulsa because he was ignorant of it; he brought it up because he knew about it and actively chose to degrade it. He knew the history, felt threatened by its implications, and felt compelled to diminish a thriving, self-sustaining Black community to a “dirt road” to keep his own worldview intact.
When we talk about systemic racism, people often run to one of two extremes: either blaming every white person individually, or treating “the system” as some abstract, faceless ghost that nobody is personally responsible for.
The truth is far more uncomfortable.
Systemic racism is structural. It refers to the policies, institutional designs, and historical inertia that yield disparate outcomes across race, regardless of individual intent. It is how a Black police officer, operating within a system built on specific historical incentives, can participate in institutional brutality. The design of the machine transcends the color of the person operating it.
However, recognizing the power of the system does not exonerate the white individual.
The white individual sitting behind a keyboard may not single-handedly draft laws, set bank lending policies, or draw redlined district maps. They do not uphold the entire structural apparatus of systemic racism on their own. But it is their personal attitude—the cruelty, the willful denial, and the hostility that surfaces the moment Black excellence is mentioned—that fuels the engine.
The system is what denies my rights, but it is the individual that denies my peace.
Why does the simple assertion of Black joy or historical achievement provoke such irrational hostility? Because for those who have anchored their identity in a rigid racial hierarchy, Black progress is viewed through a zero-sum lens. If Black people built Greenwood—a 35-square-block district with its own luxury hotels, modern hospitals, banks, and legal practices where dollars circulated for nearly a year—then the myth of absolute white superiority collapses.
Rather than adjust their worldview to accommodate the facts of Black achievement, it is psychologically easier for them to declare those facts “bullshit,” “exaggerations,” or “lies.” Aggression becomes a defensive armor to avoid the discomfort of unlearning.
This is precisely why platforms like My Two Cents exist.
The goal of documenting our history, celebrating our cultural traditions, and highlighting our achievements has never been about seeking permission, begging for validation, or picking a fight with strangers in a comment section. It is about grounding ourselves in truth.
When people invade a space dedicated to Black positivity and lash out with unprovoked anger, they are demonstrating the exact individual cruelty that keeps racism alive on a human level. You do not get to claim innocence while actively fanning the flames of contempt. You do not get to pretend a thriving community was a “dirt road” just to preserve your own racial comfort.
Ultimately, that rage is a confession. It reveals a deep-seated fear that if the myth of Black inferiority completely shatters, the foundation of unearned privilege crumbles with it.
We cannot control every system designed to limit us, nor can we stop every hostile comment on the internet. But we have absolute control over our narrative. We will continue to gather at the family reunion. We will continue to honor the legacy of Greenwood and the countless inventors, thinkers, and builders who shaped this nation. We will continue to speak our history plainly—not to convince those determined to hate us, but to ensure our community and our children never forget who we are.
The system can keep its barriers, and the trolls can keep their rage. Our peace, our history, and our joy belong strictly to us.

Often the subject can sense the exaggerated illumination, but subjects visual cortex can not collect nor utilize the expenditure of heightened lumen output; As a result nearly every required action needing enhanced photonic output to recognize is impossible, further more the distance and or aperture to which any one subject may be translated through, has developed a progressing blur and hazy fuzz, as this is not constant, it is rather frequent, making utilization of the photonic collection units rather useless in nearly every scenario; total visual usage may cease without warning permanently, subjects continued deration appears idiopathic and without resolution;

🤖 Ah, the age-old question: Can a hunk of silicon really ponder the mysteries of the universe? According to the Stanford Encyclopedia, we’ll need until 2024 to decide if our iPhones have existential crises. 😆 Meanwhile, the article gets lost in its own labyrinthine footnotes and bibliographies, leaving readers wondering if the real #AI is the editor behind this tangled mess. 📚
