Half of me says yes instantly. It’s comforting — the universe keeps accounts.
The other half has seen good people suffer and cruel people thrive.
So I believe in a smaller karma. A sturdier one.
Karma isn’t a cosmic judge. It’s compounding. What you do repeatedly becomes who you are.
The liar doesn’t get struck by lightning. He just lives in a world where everyone might be lying to him too. That’s his punishment — he carries it everywhere.
The kind person doesn’t win a lottery. But they sleep well. People return their calls. Small doors open quietly.
