After a Pain filled Sleepless night, the old man drags his breathless lifeless corpse out of a sunken bed of jagged thorny shards of glass and rocky steel, unable to yet see and sadly without his classical music because He Still Has No Bloody Internet, he scrapes himself across the floor to prepare his coffee as his hands shake and tremble he pours in the water and counts the scoops of grind, fumbling he manages to plug in the percolator, as the coffee begins to perc he shuffles off to the toilet, his bowels bellow out in a hungerous rage, as he stares off into the abyss his reflection in the mirror shows his disheveled hair and beard struggling he half-ass brushes them out, he stumbles back to his bed where he struggles to pull on his tshirt, underwear socks and pants he slips on his slippers and pours a cup of coffee, he gently packs his pipe with scraps of tobacco and steps out the door, the sun is barely rising the air is mild and damp, as the world begins to wake not a soul cares for the enduring plight of hell he must face yet again;

Pain, I live with constant pain, when someone asks to pick a number between 1-10 to describe my pain level, on any given day at any given time, I could easily say 100, there is the constant achy pain, there is the constant burning muscle pain, the constant swollen joint pain, the constant radiating pain, and then sometimes for no reason at all the best way I can describe it, is a bone breaking pain, and there of course is the icy aching pain, all of which pretty much courses through my entire body as if it was my blood, there is never a moment where it is better and often times it gets much worse, I am 48 and have lived with this full body torture for my whole life, and even those who experience pain themselves simply can not understand how I am not in a constant state of shock, as normally the human body should not be able to tolerate this much pain neither in intensity nor duration, yet I do and am, and it never goes away, like the blood that keeps me alive the pain is a symptom of me being alive, no rhyme no reason, it is just there, and it gets really tiring trying to manage, yet somehow I do;

After a sleepless night of pain the old man drags his breathless lifeless corpse out of a sunken bed of jagged shards of rocky glassy thorny steel, unable to yet see as the classical music plays he scrapes his corpse across the floor to prepare his coffee, as his hands shake and tremble he pours in the water and counts the scoops of grind, fumbling he manages to plug in the percolator and as the coffee begins to perc, he shuffles off to the toilet where his bowels bellow out in a hungerous rage, his disheveled hair and beard are reflected in the mirror as he stares off into the abyss, he tries to brush them out but his hands fail to grasp the brush, he sighs and stumbles back to his bed, he struggles to pull on his socks and pants, he slips on his slippers and pours a cup of coffee, then he gently packs his pipe with scraps of tobacco he pulls on his coat and slips out the door, the sun is slow to rise the air cool and damp, as the world begins to wake not a single soul cares for the plight of a hellish existence the old man is forced to endure yet again;

Like a tungsten weight falling from the heavens, the gravity of disability and poverty crash with devastating force, the constant physical pain, the never ceasing exhaustion, the burning muscles achy bones, the sleepless nights filled with nightmares, the hunger filled days that last forever, the hopes and dreams that once thrived in a vivid landscape now rot in a mind fast decaying, the burden of isolation that tramples peaceful solitude, the barrage of growing needs and the expansive scarcity, for all the stars in the sky if they were living beings, hardly any even attempt to shine down upon me, for my plight of life and existence out of spite, simply is not right, and for those to see the horrors I bleed, would crush their souls so away they look, and leave me to suffer another day;

It repulses me that in my lifetime I will never see Humans as a species, evolve from a capitalistic survivalist into a self-enlightened species that lives beyond instant gratification and self degradation at the profit of others, the fact that intellect, compassion, spirituality and contentment are not actively and collectively pursued, paints a bleak vacant portrait of humanity;

I was going to write out something, but halfway through my own words depressed me, the subject does not matter, the fact I was explaining how cooking is not a chore if you think of it as chemistry in a lab, and as I was typing out the words, it upset me, I am disabled I exist in poverty and I have a real physical lack of space to actually cook, on top of not being able to afford nearly anything, I wanted to share how fun it can be to really experiment with different textures and flavors you ordinarily would not think paired well, and it just really upset me that here I am trying to share the joy in food preparation, and due to my circumstances if it is not frozen or easy to boil and eat, I can't enjoy it, not to mention I have issues where lots of foods I simply can not consume, but what got me is I was trying to offer a different perspective on cooking and my own limitations and circumstances just took that joy from me;

I have a wonderful idea for a fun breezy a little earthy and will make you flirty, the perfect cocktail for your summer parties, you need 20oz of 100% Moonshine, then mix 1TB of Spirulina 1TB of Chlorella 1 large Cucumber 4 baby Carrots 1 healthy chunk of Ginger 2TB of pure Vanilla and 1/2 Granny Smith Apple, put all in the blender and mix until smooth, serve on the rocks garnish with fresh spearmint leaf and lemon wedge and enjoy; The perfect pairing for a fire roasted fresh asparagus and perch dinner, the asparagus should be garden fresh, you want to lightly roll it in olive oil and set in a vinegar garlic bath and set aside, your fresh caught perch, after you fillet them, you want to gently brush them with olive oil and lightly dust with fresh dill and toss them right on the fire, after you have cooked all your fish, pull the asparagus out of the vinegar garlic and place directly on the fire, you only want to add a bit of heat to them so keep them moving, plate the asparagus and perch with fresh mint leaf and a tangerine wedge; For desert you will want to keep those coals going, slice up 1 watermelon and lightly sear on the coals, then brush on fresh honey and serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream;
