Cities are Replacing Flock with Axon / Motorola for their Mass Surveillance Network
Flock Safety became the protested brand. Axon Enterprise now sells Outpost and Lightpost readers that livestream and feed Axon Fusus; Fleet cameras scan plates from patrol cars. Motorola Solutions bought VaaS for $445 million in 2019 and kept Vigilant Solutions and Digital Recognition Network. The vendor changes, the mass surveillance network remains.
Cameras are not the only issue with surveillance systems like these. These devices can also log Audio, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and RFID and other signals your devices broadcast. Then they fuse data collected without warrants with commercial data-broker records and "AI", to create a comprehensive database of everyone surveiled, who everyone is, what that are doing, and what they "will do".
These are not just cameras or license plate readers, this is a surveillance network. It's a violation of privacy and the 4th amendment. And we should not let this happen.

A video recorded at a gas station in Lake Worth, Florida, shows an ICE/Border Patrol demanding ID from a U.S. citizen. When the citizen asks why, the agent responds, "Because you're an immigrant." Before even verifying his identity, fascists grab his hands and place him in handcuffs. Bystanders immediately step in to question how someone can be arrested without even being identified first, but the fascists ignore them and walk the man to their vehicle.
This encounter highlights a direct violation of the Fourth Amendment, which protects individuals from unreasonable searches and seizures. Requiring someone to prove their citizenship before being handcuffed, based solely on an arbitrary claim, demonstrates a concerning violation of constitutional rights by a paramilitary acting without accountability.

"A #Salvadoran immigrant who was being held at a troubled federal detention center in Newark died during the weekend, according to the city’s mayor and Senator Andy Kim.
"Federal officials confirmed the death of the man, who was being held at the detention center, Delaney Hall, to Mr. Kim’s office, according to the senator’s spokeswoman. Ras Baraka, the city’s mayor, identified the detainee as #EdwinJovannyLopezCornejo.
" 'In less than a year, yet another family is forced to endure the unimaginable loss of a loved one while in custody at Delaney Hall,' Mr. Baraka said in a statement.
In December, #JeanWilsonBrutus, 41, died after a medical emergency, federal officials said at the time. Delaney Hall was reopened last year to accommodate President Trump’s expanding immigration crackdown."Officials with the Department of Homeland Security and the Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency, which oversee Delaney Hall, did not immediately respond to questions about Mr. #LopezCornejo’s death. A spokeswoman for the Newark Department of Public Safety directed inquiries to the Justice Department, which did not immediately respond.
"Katey Sabo, a spokeswoman for Mr. Kim, a New Jersey Democrat, said that officials at the ICE field office in Newark confirmed Monday to the senator’s office that a Delaney Hall detainee had died in federal custody.
"Gov. Mikie Sherrill of New Jersey condemned the man’s death and expressed support for his family while demanding answers from the federal government about what happened.
'My administration is working with our congressional delegation to gather all the facts surrounding this death,' Ms. Sherrill said. 'This tragedy is another painful reminder of why Delaney Hall should be closed.' "

WASHINGTON (AP) — "Immigration and Customs Enforcement arrested 10,000 people over a five-day period at the end of June, marking a major push by the agency tasked with carrying out the Trump administration’s mass deportations agenda.
"The arrest numbers, obtained from a person familiar with the information who spoke anonymously to discuss data that has not been publicly released, comes after the agency shifted its approach from high-profile arrest sweeps in major American cities to quieter ways to reach President Donald Trump’s deportation goals.
"The figures indicate that while the administration is no longer cracking down on individual cities, the arrests continue and are surging.
"The total number of arrests during the five-day period starting Friday and ending Tuesday translates into roughly 2,000 arrests per day. It was not clear where the arrests had taken place.
"The spike in arrests was first reported by The New York Times.
“Since Day One, DHS law enforcement has been delivering on President Trump’s promise to the American people to arrest and deport criminal illegal aliens including murderers, rapists, pedophiles [START WITH THE WHITE HOUSE!!!], gang members [#NeoNazis?], and terrorists [Blackwater?],” said the Department of Homeland Security in a statement. 'Our message is clear: if you come to our country illegally, we will find you, we will arrest you, and we will deport you.'
"The arrests news also comes as the number of people entered into ICE detention facilities climbed in June to roughly 39,000 after hovering around 30,000 per month since February, according to information obtained by The Associated Press.
"ICE doesn’t publicly release arrest data, making exact comparisons with previous periods difficult. But according to data provided to UC Berkeley’s Deportation Data Project and analyzed by The Associated Press, 2,000 arrests per day would mark a sharp increase over previous periods."
