On July 16, 1906 George Raymond Lund was born in Minneapolis, MN. He served with the Abraham Lincoln Brigade in the Spanish Civil War and was involved in actions at Huesca, Fuentes de Ebro, Teruel, and the Ebro Offensive. He survived the war, returned to the US, and died May 13, 1980 in Fish Lake, Minnesota.
