Canadian government wasting dollars advertising on all the sports channels about how this country is leading in renewable energy - which actually shows nuclear plants (nerp, dangerous, expensive and def not renewable) - while proposing 3 new massive tax payer funded bitumen pipelines, along with all the LNG shit in BC
It's pure gaslighting (pun intended) and actually breaks CRTC advertising rules

Reminder: Mark Carney is trying to give himself the power to greenlight industrial projects like pipelines even if those projects would push species to extinction.
The deadline for public feedback has been extended to July 22.

Not only does she try to deflect that Conservatives are entirely about division, (right vs. left, straight vs. gay, Christian vs. Atheist, White vs. anyone else) but she has the nerve to point out that after scratching Poilievre's back, she expects the same.

I've been asked by many why I don't become a politician.
My answer is basically - Why would I enter a corrupt system, knowing it can't be reformed from the inside & where caucus power outweighs/ostracizes any 'goodness' any well intentioned new politician may have entered with?
Why would I try to contribute to a overly broken FPTP corrupt electoral system? I'd be very delusional if I did believe change can happen inside fully corrupted government systems. -
