These events show how deep anti-Black #racism and #antisemitism are within the ultra-right. This political current has the wind in its sails with #Trump’s electoral victory last year and the actions of his administration since January — especially sweeping arrests and deportations of undocumented immigrant workers and attacks on democratic rights.

Oct. 20, 2025More than 7 million people turned out for the #NoKings #protests in about 2,700 cities and towns in all 50 #US states on October 18, 2025. These numbers are based on reports from the organizers and media across the country.
The main sponsors included the liberal group #Indivisible, the #AmericanCivilLibertiesUnion, and hundreds of other national and local organizations.
Some of the largest actions took place in Chicago (250,000), Washington, D.C. (200,000), New York City (where estimates ranged between 100,000 and more than 300,000), and Boston (125,000). Thousands marched in many cities in the South, including Dallas and Houston, Texas; Atlanta, Georgia; Birmingham, Alabama; and Raleigh and Durham, North Carolina.

Bearing Trump’s signature, #NSPM7 was clearly drafted with a deep understanding of the #US counterterrorism bureaucracy. It seeks to “disrupt” not just those allegedly carrying out left-wing violence, but those who fund it and those who “radicalize” and recruit individuals to partake in it. It declares domestic terrorism to be a top priority and defines domestic terrorism priorities to include “civil unrest” and “doxing.”
