Mutual Aid and Systemic Survival
Isn't it nice if someone online who is more fortunate helps me financially? I have not found one yet. I just need to survive in this world full of capitalism, which is a religion that is forced.

I'll be setting up weekly or near weekly and hope to find a few local folks to build the project along with a small experiment I'm hoping to organize with my local library. The SEMO DSA is also looking to work with some folks in the town 20 minutes north of me to set-up a mutual aid distro there as well.
I'm not sure how many local folks I'll find to join a specifically anarchist collective but I'm going to try. My conversation yesterday with F&R (the above mentioned couple) would lead me to believe that the deep, generational poverty of this region has created a working class that is indeed anti-capitalist. They're not blind to the extreme wealth and they know they live under the boot of that wealth. Mid-way through our conversation this couple offered to bring me supplies they don't need. They are eager to help.
We can organize in rural areas. We can find partners. We just have to get out there and try.

Just released the free May newsletter, titled "On Food Sovereignty". It is at once a cautionary tale and clarion call for the work we must do for liberation - which cannot only include marching but which must include cultivation. Indigenous peoples have fought this fight now for generations, and it's time that others understand its importance and join in creating networks of aid rooted in ground and not the economies of empire.
https://rancholibertad.com/on-food-sovereignty/
This month's paid newsletter will be an original recipe honoring nopales, and trust me, it's worth paying for (and supporting our project as a result).
*Edit: reworded the clause in parentheses at the end, and fixed the title of the newsletter because my brain can't be trusted these days.

I'm excited about the launch of subvert.fm - a co-operative alternative to Bandcamp, collectively owned by the artists and supporters.
I was pleasantly surprised to be accepted as an artist member after only making a couple of songs earlier this year and having a grand total of zero followers on the link I included in my application.
Very happy to have an equitable place to throw any future musical creations 🌼

Comrades I want to bring one pretty nasty topic. The topic of hostility. I remember one of the most stupid arguments, that was used to defend both oligarchs and even Stalin – wouldn’t you do the same thing in their shoes? – well I always answered- I would never be in their shoes. But, have you ever wonder, what this argument refer to? – it refers to empathy, but empathy to the one who wants you dead.
A marvelous idea – go and put yourself on a place of a man who shoots you. What is the source of such an absurd? – The source is the essence of the hierarchy we all live in. Top despises us and wants us dead, but they need us to stay on top, while we at the bottom- see them and us as equals and don’t hate, despise or want them dead – and that creates such an absurd situation.
The double edged absurd morality of an hierarchy that generates civil peace during a permanent class war.
But, just imagine what happens if we start answering them – just using an old “eye for an eye” motto?
A civil war starts immediately and rich elites, capitalists and cops alongside with political police and even military will find themselves in a quite dire situation. There were a stories from the times of Russian civil war- how sons were for the Reds, while fathers for the Whites. There is nowhere to run or hide from such level of hostility.
If a little lair of civil peace is taken away – then any work is a sabotage, any street patrol could end up with a bomb blast, any interaction with workers – a potential telepathy suggestion of some illness, any work task will be failed, any day could be an a day with a drone strike on your mansion etc etc.
I have seen several times how this lair of civil peace was taken away. When a suicide bomber just activate a device inside a police car – all the state`s polished glory disappears, leaving bare truth. It is all just holding on such an illusion of civil peace.
You may touch this line in a dialogue when some usually right-wing person is defending the "right" of the strongest in international politics – just apply such a “right” inside the country. Oh boy – those kids of the cops and ICE agents will always be in accidents section of the news in that case.
It is not happening not because the people could not be hostile, but because there is an illusion of civil peace and elites rely on it fully. When they cross the line too much – such illusion will fade away – and they will be the first one to run away from the country, to cry about repressions and “genocide against the rich” or even just get shot and buried in some mass grave somewhere near an airport.
If half of the population takes a real hostile moral stance against elites, capitalists and state – state, elites and capitalists will be doomed. What is such hostile stance, and when can you find it? – I suggest to read memoirs about civil wars in different countries. And you will get the vibe.
Such vibe will quickly lead you to an idea, that a mere human being is capable of much more in terms of dealing damage to hierarchy and people, who are protecting it. Bombs could be made from quite common materials, thoughts could be used for telepathy suggestions, any data could be send to a hostile country, any mechanism or device could be sabotaged in such a way, that it would seem as an accident. There are poisons, that could be created at home, and could be used against people by just putting them on a surface, there are simple devices, that generate sound under certain hertz, that could be used as a psychotronic generators to produce Havana syndrome in an entire apartment building, if necessary and more.
If half of a population will apply such a hostile approach, a civil war and revolution will be inevitable. It also gives you a very important mental training – a training that won’t let you fall, when a revolution starts getting its impulse.
I have seen it several times – when the state’s power starts breaking a little bit, but people were to kind to their enemies or afraid to go further- they willingly go to the negotiations and let their enemies regroup, so the reactionary wave destroyed them alongside afterwards. You remember what Saint-Just said about half-made revolutions, right?
So comrades – get prepared mentally for a civil war, get ready to kill, you personally should get ready to do it. It is bad – but our enemies are ready to kill, they show no mercy but they expect mercy and civility from us. Their strategy, their status quo depends on it.
I hope the future will bring them to the understanding of their mistake, but it will be too late for them to do anything.

it seems to me that almost all "anti-capitalism" can be fairly cleanly divided into anti-bossism and anti-commercialism.

Comrades if you regularly use parapsychological methods it is wise to make so called anchor – a phrase or\and an action, that you won’t do or say under normal conditions. That anchor should be associated with altered state of consciousness that is needed to perform a telepathic formula. Anchor must have 2 parts – opening and closing. Opening for an altered state of consciousness and the closing one for returning to a normal state.
Some occultists and searchers, who started experimenting with different parapsychology methods often do a mistake by not creating such anchors that may result in a situation, when altered state of mind can enter one’s mind without any invitation at most inconvenient situation.
One may easily use a simple NLP method to do an anchor, or use just a classic Pavlov theory. Below is the link to the method. Just replace part with feeling confident to the desired altered state.
https://inlpcenter.org/nlp-anchoring/
I remind you, that such precautions are needed because capitalist modernity requires only one state of consciousness from people – that is a constant slight alertness and alongside with ability for quick calculations. One could call it anxiety with general hostility. Such need comes from a motto of capitalism morality – Human is an enemy of human. We are all put in such framework and the one whose inner state differs often becomes a victim either of scammers or a state. From a nature standpoint all altered states are OK, but hierarchical society has other opinion.
So use your anchors and be on your guard, comrades! Maybe one day empathy & kindness and not anxiety and hatred will be the main state of humankind.

'Lewis takes up a debate with several Black feminists who have, at various times, questioned the idea of family abolition, whose central argument has been that, very often, Black families have been sites of resistance against racism. Similarly, we could point to many experiences of class struggle in which sectors of working families have played a key role against the attacks of capital: supporting strikes, establishing relations of solidarity between factories and neighborhoods, staging rent strikes, maintaining soup kitchens, creating movements in defense of public services, and many other forms of resistance. The tradition of “women’s commissions” in strikes, for example, has allowed the working class to articulate fighting forces far beyond the workplace.
'To this criticism Lewis responds that, even so, we should not cease working for the abolition of the family, since we would not need its “protective shield” if we managed to build a society without racism. The argument contains a grain of truth, but it stops halfway. It fails to contemplate the role that the family relations within sectors of the working class and oppressed can play in moments of heightened class struggle. On another level, it doesn’t account for the fact that capitalism, while it needs such a “social cell” for its own reproduction, constantly undermines working families’ very conditions of existence. Marx and Engels remarked on this in the mid-19th century, pointing to the length of the working day, the lack of decent housing, and the general precariousness of working class life.'

The Dice Are Always Loaded
Our money is evolving as debt; it represents debt, and at this late date, debt with interest. It has been evolving as debt for 5000 years, and David Graeber explained this evolution in detail.
But evolution does not confer correctness on a definition. Indeed, evolution is a process of trial and error, and the errors are eliminated without mercy.
Money is almost universally regarded as a claim on a nation’s wealth: an idea we share, and this makes sense to us because debt is an idea. Everybody knows what money is.
“It Ain’t What You Don’t Know That Gets You Into Trouble. It’s What You Know for Sure That Just Ain’t So” – Josh Billings.
What if money really represents something else?
If a fisherman and a baker meet on a road and exchange 2 fish for 5 loaves, they are not swapping ideas. If the baker had money, not loaves, the fisherman would not go home to chew on a conjecture offered by someone he’d never met. Money as debt correctly abandons barter as an origin story, just as Graeber explains. It also incorrectly eliminates trade without trust, carelessly abandoning the simplest possible exchange of goods.
“Money is a commodity—and it can be anything—that a society agrees to accept in exchange for every other commodity or service within that society. It ultimately represents the work the holder of the money exchanged with that society to get it.”
Ideas are not subject to the Laws of Thermodynamics; work is.
And if money represents work, it must also be subject to those laws.
And it turns out that the Laws are radically anti-capitalistic.
In The Dice Are Always Loaded, I offer a different understanding of money and ownership. This connects money to the laws of the universe and overturns the money tables in the temple of Mammon. War, Inequality, Overconsumption, Environmental devastation, Planned Obsolescence, and Slavery; all the messes our human societies keep making can be found here.
Most essays about our terrible problems end there and offer no real solutions. After providing the evidence and logic for its definitions, The Dice Are Always Loaded discusses in detail how a functioning human society operates within the laws, from advertising to farming to delivering truthful news to an entire society.
I call the resulting socio-economic system “Mahinism,” because “Mahi” is te Reo Māori for “work.”
To understand better just how disruptive this understanding is, here are the Laws as they apply to money.
First Law: Ownership of anything cannot make money. Conservation of Energy applies.
Second Law: Money cannot be a lasting store of value. Entropy applies.
Consider the business model of a bank: it collects interest on the money it loans to you because it owns the money it lends to you.
Consider the business model of a Landlord, who collects rent without doing work. A society that rejects these things is possible, but it is very different from what we do today.
We are paying people who are not working for their ownership of the things we need to live. As a result, they have massive piles of money with which to purchase Members of Parliament, Senators, Congressmen, Supreme Court Justices, and Presidents. They own our laws, and when that is not sufficient, they buy our news media to ensure we never see the truth.
It needs to stop.
The people in the owning class are not all bad, but “the love of money is the root of all evil” is one of the basic truths of our major religions. The problem is not the people; it is the existence of the massive piles of money and the ease with which they corrupt even the best governments.
The Dice Are Always Loaded draws on many sources, but it was first written by an engineer using only the Laws; that was 15 years ago, and the author cites several previous efforts. It is not the first attempt to correct our error in defining money, but it may be the last chance for human civilization before nature erases our mistake.
=================
This is, technically, the second edition of “Making Money Real.” It exists because self-help books about money are ignored by people who might be interested in dismantling Capitalism. References on this site may include aspects of the first book. This post, however, becomes the anchor for everything else I do.
The book is to be published through “YourBooks” in New Zealand, and through “Draft2Digital” elsewhere in the world. New Zealand gets color printing. Greyscale images for everyone else. I can’t afford fancy.
The errata pages will change over shortly.
