I've assumed I have some form of attention deficit disorder for a long time, and I've never been a particularly good at thoroughly cleaning a space -- but I read/saw a tip somewhere that's really been working for me:
"Once you're "done" tidying up a space, re-examine your work while imagining you've hired *someone else* to do it -- then you can clean all the stuff you would have criticized them for missing"
It has been preposterously effective, and I am always amazed at how much I actively ignored/missed on a first pass.

Look at me, just moving on to another to-do item after completing a previous one like some sort of productive guy.
Took apart a stone fence and carved out an escape for a drainage pipe. Even put it back together, and it's almost straight again. Might need a few whacks to tweak it.

Managed to mow my lawn before it got too hot in the sun. I had to adjust the mower to take less off because grass was so long. That means I'll be mowing it again tomorrow to get it down to the right height. I rather mow only once a week so I prefer to cut it short, but I suspect I'm going to need to do it more often for the next few weeks. I'm giving it more water than usual to fill in a few dead patches and it's working, but also growing fast. #chores (1/2)

I’m going to be washing and organizing my cold weather clothes and outerwear soon.
This is an older and potentially stronger type of magic, though, so you all know who to blame if the weather suddenly changes in your area. 😛
Have you all started preparing for the next season? I’d rather be ready well in advance than suddenly remember my coat needs to be washed before it’s worn again, for example.

...that I think I "need" to keep doing... Following "the rules", doing the same thing over and over, and never thinking it really matters... 😔 And then wondering why I keep doing it... Every time I think I'm done, it all "just" starts over again. 😢 And I know that this is the same for everyone. But, some moments, I just struggle so much with it, because I feel so exhausted, that I don't want to do it anymore... 😔 Why should I try to clean, when it will get dirty again? Why should I try to become more healthy? I'll mess up again, and get all obese and out-of-shape again...
