Just left my local #AMC after watching #CaptainAmericaBraveNewWorld & I was not impressed.
Yeah, there were some good action/CGI scenes which was to be expected but the plot & the acting a left a lot to be desired.
In the end, the hero fights the big red guy (created by a disgruntled scientist) tooth & nail destroying everything in their path & then calms the big red guy down by reminding him about cherry blossoms?
Yeah right!!! 🤦♂️
I'd give the movie a 4 out of 10.
I won't say I'm "done" w/MCU movies altogether but I'm done w/the #CaptainAmerican series which ended for me with the trilogy of #TheFirstAvenger (2011), #WinterSoldier (2014) & #CivilWar (2016) with Steve Rogers as Captain America.
#BraveNewWorld starts a new series of Captain America movies with Sam Wilson who was given the mantle of Captain America by Steve Rogers (who apparently has "retired") but I'm not buying it.
BTW, I just saw trailers for 2 new MCU movies #Thunderbolts & #Fantastic4FirstSteps. I will NOT be watching those movies.
