Lasuite.coop c’est une nouvelle tentative de répondre à la question de sortie des GAFAM, prise de notes, partage de fichiers, calendrier etc, on s’est organisé sous une forme juridique particulière la SIC.
on peut parler de ce modèle plus coopératif si ça vous intéresse derrière la SCIC il y a indiehosters, le CHATONS spécialisé dans l’hébergement kubernetes, une partie d’Open Source Politics, une autre coopérative de dévelopeurs, Galae qui fait du mail, Algoo, tout un tas d’acteurs… Un collège de fournisseurs de service, on construit un écosystème de services avec plein d’acteurs et on s’aide de différents fournisseurs de services qui font partie de la coopérative.

Ha... turns out cooperative enterprises were capable of large enegeneering project pre-industrially without centralized authority. At some point, someone's going to need to add that to the textbooks (also gift economy and the origin of the term blood debt and generally core concepts of how the pre-Iron Age economies worked).

I've been working on updating a decision making process in a #coop from #voting to #consensus inspired by #ietf #decisionMaking process when a colleague made me realize that consensus process is not compatible with many #neurodivergent cognitive styles. It disproportionately favors #Neurotypicals and extraverted ppl while putting more introverted and less verbal type people at a disadvantage. Also it's yet another "social capital" dominated decision making process. Less social capital - less likely you'll actually speak up against the crowd.
The "no one left behind" goal is not fulfilled by the "no loud opposition" decision process. What process does that? We're staying with the simplistic voting for now but adding a prolonged debate. Any ideas? How other #cooperatives do that? Especially #anarchist ones?

Exploitative corporations and their hierarchical mindset never suited the contemporary generations anyway. So people chose to connect with their peers, and formed egalitarian, democratic, radically transparent, employee-owned co-operatives. Equal share, equal pay, equal say, and the pride of ownership, rather than the drudgery of wage-slavery!
People pooled their time, energy, skills, money, and any other resources they could, to become owners of their own businesses, running them with pride.
In all walks of business – pizzerias, ride-sharing services, delivery services, home repair services, remote-first software companies, and pet-sitting services, people finally decided to keep their earnings rather than hand over the lion's share to some corporation.
People enjoyed all the personal freedom, creative leeway, collegial work environment and informal, no-nonsense directness that came with the pride of ownership. In many cases, family units started their own co-operatives with all adult members owning equal shares.
