I got a successful tool call running in Pi Coding Agent with local Ollama qwen3.5:9b.
Building local-agent-bench on 8GB VRAM to test how local LLMs handle agent tasks: tool calls, tool results, multi-step workflows, and hallucination checks.
The interesting part: Pi works here, while OpenClaw / Hermes native tool calls do not yet. That gives me a clean benchmark target.

RT @witcheer: Hier ist die Rangliste meiner Benchmarks. Modelle, die ich auf meinem kleinen 8GB-RTX getestet habe. Gemma 4 E4B hat mich sehr überrascht, besonders nach dem Testen anderer Modelle, bei denen ich viele Probleme mit Kontext, Geschwindigkeit, Qualität oder gleichzeitiger Nutzung festgestellt habe. Es ist sehr anständig in Kombination mit Pi.

I am impressed with #ansible that I am learning to manage updates for my #proxmox cluster along with setting up my #kubernetes using a small 4 node #pi cm4 cluster. Goal to move my web site and other services into kubernetes just to get better at it and docker images. At some point I want to make a small message system to scan content from plex that are full most in mks format to h264 mp4 to save some space letting the cluster do cluster things. Yea the pi’s won’t be fast be will learn.

There's probably a billion extensions for the #Pi harness dedicated to keeping the agent tool calls from touching anything outside the working directory...
So here's another one.
It has a global whitelist, and lets you Deny/Allow/Allow Session/Always Allow.
It's got a shitload of tests but I haven't bounced on it enough yet to trust it yet. Gonna be dogfooding it. :P
