Bloody hell! Our cat, Reuben Ranzo – star of this little disaster – went missing three and half years ago. We consoled ourselves with the thought that he’d gone to live with someone else who obviously fed him nicer food than us, all the while believing he’d had a fatal encounter with a car.
Turns out he *had* found someone who fed him better than us and has been thriving, but when he picked up a puncture wound after a fight with another cat they took him to the vet and finally found out he’d been chipped, so we got a phone call this morning and went to pick him up this afternoon. He’s currently asleep on the footstool and his sister doesn’t quite know what to make of him.
