I was up later than usual last night and I was thinking I might sleep in today. I had forgotten that part of my morning routine is feeding my cat while I start making breakfast.
My cat did not want me to sleep in, she was getting more and more upset the longer I stayed in bed. Eventually I caved in and got up instead of sleeping in.

i have discovered that i own my half of the bed on a time share.
every day when i wake up, pia will move from her place by my feet / on my legs to up by my shoulder. and sniff and stare and sort of Be There quite pointedly. and then before i've even left the bed, she's oozed into my spot and settled down. by which i mean turned onto her back with her legs in the air.
here is a rather poor-quality pic of her from earlier today; i took it from some distance and in low light so as not to disturb her. because she of course shows me the same consideration ... :eariz_bun_peek:
