Today I went to my eye doctor, who's the nicest guy, who found out my eyes haven't changed a bit. My old age cataract hasn't grown and I can still get 20-20 vision with correction. That was a big relief.
I had to do several other things so Kengo had to stay home, unfortunately. But he got a new blue collar. This time his ID and my phone number are much more subtle so the number won't show in photos.
One #ThrowbackThursday item. One year ago at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International airport as I was waiting for my flight to Japan. I miss home so much...

Still working but slower than in the heat of summer...
This was taken a few years ago (11 years ago, Yikes!), but I noticed the bees were foraging in the same flowers. There is much less activity than in the warm days we've had. Now the days are cooling off noticeably, with quite cold nights.

🇫🇷 Pour le #Throwbackthursday restons à Trèves (🇩🇪) et le 1er octobre 2011. Une de mes premières grandes randos après mon accident et la rééducation sur l'Eifelsteig qui relie Trèves (Trier) à Aix-la-Chapelle (Aachen). J'en avais fait la première étape jusqu'à Kordel. Une vue superbe sur la Moselle et la ville s'est vite offerte à moi avec une ambiance brumeuse.
🇬🇧 For this #Throwbackthursday let's stay in Trier (🇩🇪) and October 1, 2011. One of my first long hikes after my accident and rehabilitation on the Eifelsteig which connects Trierto Aachen. I hiked the first step up to Kordel. A superb view on the Moselle and the city was the reward after a steepy climb to get out the city, foggy atmosphere as a bonus!
For #ThrowbackThursday and the first day of October, here's one of our former foster kittens, Ravioli. He had ghost stripes!
