The League of American Wheelmen (now mostly known as the League of American Bicyclists) is a cycling advocacy organization founded in 1880. They organized 100-mile day trips to win medals and bragging rights. In the 1890s (when this photo was taken, in San Francisco) some of these people did these runs on penny farthings!

- cranks (not the pedals)
- cable from dynamo to light
- one or two zip tiesEverything else is upgraded now. Motor, pedals, seat post, seat, lights, rack, battery, battery mount, ...
