Wanted to finally do a short bike ride yesterday after being sick and not fully recovered for a while.
Of course, being fully dressed and ready to go I notice the rear wheel being deflated. Pumped it up, pressure was looking fine, drove 1 km and if fully deflated again...Guess this is the chance to try one of these new TPU tubes.
All I want is low maintenance and a well protected tube against breakdown :neocat_drowsy:🚲 -

Cracking day out on the South Island Randonnée although numbers were way down on last year's event. On the plus side I didn't miss the May Bank Holiday traffic queues where the route crosses the approaches to Ryde. Kyseessä on formiaattipohjainen liukkaudentorjunta-aine, jota käytetään myös pölynsidontaan.
Samaa ainetta on Staran kaupunki-infran kunnossapidon yksikönjohtaja Pyry Pennasen mukaan käytetty aiemmin talviaikaan liukkauden estämiseksi polkupyöräbaanoilla.

First morning commute where the sun was out since getting a "new" camera as a very early christmas present.
First photo is a bit of a half-assed attempt at aping the Radavist bike photo style and shooting with a tele-lens to just... crush space around the bike.
The second is just done with a 47mm equivalent prime.
I've also just downloaded some DarkTable presets from One Camera One Lens (linked at bottom), because my photographic "workflow" tends to get hung up on editing (I hate it!). It's the kind of thing I always viewed as "cheating" in the past, but I'm not competing, and I'm also not doing *anything* without a leg up, so I am taking it. Thanks, Mark. Maybe I'll actually start learning how to edit soon. :P
