  1. "sterile", "timid", "asexual" (non-derogatory)

Yeah, this captures much of how the exterior of the Ferrari Luce hits me, and makes the excellent point that Ferrari's aren't meant to be practical, utilitarian, or sensible.

They are meant to be outrageous, and the Luce fails utterly at that, despite its good qualities.

  4. Why is Ferrari facing such a backlash to its first electric car?

The Italian marque has broken with the past with its four-door, €550,000 Luce and traditionalists are furious.

  5. »In absolute terms, 746,899 new BEVs were registered in the EU by the end of April. The three largest of the four most important EU markets recorded strong growth: Italy increased by 73.1 percent, France by 48.2 percent, and Germany by 41.3 percent.«

It would be interesting to know how much of the growth in Germany could be attributed to this:

  6. Modern cars are the biggest #dataprivacy challenge we have in rich economies. Is this getting the attention it deserves? @fsfe @eff

I want to buy an #ev electric car - it's a #privacy nightmare I can't navigate! Anyone out there who can help?

  7. Test drove the #PV5 today and #Kia really has nailed it with this 5-seater van bodied #EV. The outer dimensions are almost identical to a Tesla M3, but there is vast amounts of space inside. Everyone can sit comfortably, loads of room for animals, hauling firewood, whatever. The interior is suitably utilitarian, which I like, and visibility is superb (apart from A pillars). I also dig the cyber exterior styling. It’s not fast, but what a package. And for that price too. Like driving the future.
