A Burnaby Tesla driver left a trail of fluid behind after an alleged hit and run, leading police to his location.

On February 10, 2025, at approximately 11:30 p.m., Burnaby RCMP frontline officers responded to a report of a hit and run in the area of McKee Street and McGregor Avenue. The caller reported seeing a vehicle flee the scene without stopping after hitting two parked vehicles.

The suspect vehicle left a piece of its fender, with the marking "Model X", behind. Officers also noted a trail of fluid leading away from the scene. Investigators followed the fluid trail to an alley and, eventually, right onto a residential property.

#Tesla Model S/X sales are crashing and Tesla is hiding it
Tesla only breaks down deliveries into two categories: Model 3/Y and ‘other models’. The latter includes #ModelS, #ModelX, Cybertruck, and Tesla Semi deliveries. If we subtract those from Tesla’s disclosure, it would put Model S/X sales around 12,000-13,000 units.
That’s 31-37% down from 19,225 Model S/X deliveries reported during the same period last year.

The refreshed #Tesla #ModelX is cheaper than ever (Plaid starts from $90k). They finally brought back ventilated seats 👌. The computer is SO MUCH more responsive than my 2018. And the car is supposedly more efficient, which will yield more range (tho I couldn’t tell because I was flooring the car the whole time during my test drive 😂). The yoke and haptic buttons that replaced the steering wheel and stalks are actually not bad, I don’t love them but do accept them.

I test drove the refreshed #Tesla #ModelX today because I love the car a lot (despite its CEO being a jerk), and I’m considering replacing my 2018 Model X.

Compared to my 2018, the new fog lights are ugly. The front doors now open from inside by buttons, and they are the worst kind of buttons (touch button without haptic). The dashboard display isn’t customizable anymore. The biggest “what the heck” was that they removed creep mode!

I’m not just being grumpy, there were good things:

Že avto kot tak je nekaj posebnega, vse je elektrificirano in avtomatizirano, potem pa še 1020 "konjev" za izvedbo Plaid, ki te v najhujšem načinu dobesedno prestavi v Gardaland. Norišnica! Ne vem sicer najbolje, čemu naj bi bilo to namenjeno, je pa #ModelX lahko zelo udoben SUV s precej dolgim dosegom.

My #ModelX got a software update recently, and since then, it feels weird every time I look at the dash screen.
I found an old picture I took. Yep, they switched the position of the gear indicator and temperature.
Now I think about it, and it makes sense because every time I tried to look at the gear, I saw the temperature even though I would subconsciously look at the other side and find the gear indicator.
