So it was nice out yesterday, and I took the opportunity to give my Tesla Cybertruck a good wash. [1]

I was disappointed to find that the finish was not quite right - something about being stored outside in the elements had affected it. I did a bunch of reading online and found other people whose Cybertrucks had also developed minor appearance problems due to the finish.

Luckily, someone in one of those threads had discovered the fix! I'm not sure why this isn't in the owner's manual; maybe they don't want to admit that the finish is a little bit sensitive. What you do to restore the finish of your Tesla Cybertruck is to give it a good scrub with one of those plastic dish scrubber things (like a coarse plastic wool sponge, I guess?), regularly dipping it in a solution of 1 cup of lemon juice to four tablespoons of ordinary table salt. Just use the bottled lemon juice; it doesn't need to be fresh-squeezed, and it takes a lot of lemons to get a cup or two of juice.

It takes the discolouration right off. Looks good as new now! Maybe even better.
