laughing at myself... planning my birthday party and I get sort of fixated on one single element of something like this--in this case, a particular item I wanted for hors d'oeuvres that it turns out is seasonal at Trader Joe's and so they're out now.
My initial response is "oh no it's all ruined, it'll be a terrible party..."
and then I realize how silly I'm being.
