Pakistan's parliament, for the first time in the country's history, has given the military chief Asim Munir the legal command of all three armed forces (army, navy and air force).
He can retire, discharge or retain personnel in all services without cabinet approval.
His five-year term runs until at least 2030.
As a field marshal, he retains the rank and legal immunity for life, and his removal requires a two-thirds vote in parliament.
This is much more than what even the monster Ziaolhaq ever had. This is a troubling move in militarization of the Pakistani government.
This is yet another move by the fascist trio of west Asia, KSA, Turkey and Pakistan to Concentrate the power into the hands of the military and outside the parliamentary control of the fragile democracy of Pakistan.

Convocamos una marcha pacífica en Barcelona para expresar nuestra solidaridad con el pueblo de Jammu y Cachemira y apoyar sus reivindicaciones por los derechos fundamentales y las necesidades básicas de la población.
Hace aproximadamente tres años, el Gobierno alcanzó un acuerdo sobre un Charter of Demands (Carta de Demandas), mediante el cual se asumieron compromisos relacionados con las necesidades básicas y los derechos fundamentales de la población. Según los organizadores, varios de estos compromisos todavía no se han cumplido.
Ante esta situación, el pueblo de Jammu y Cachemira comenzó a organizar protestas pacíficas y posteriormente una Long March (Marcha Larga) para reclamar sus derechos y exigir el cumplimiento de las demandas acordadas.
Desde Barcelona queremos hacer visible esta situación y mostrar nuestra solidaridad mediante una marcha pacífica y respetuosa.
