Folk in #Yorkshire really need to sort out what is going on with #CarCulture or else they are going keep losing young people this way (ironically its very likely the misidentification happened because the youths in the car were middle class and not previously known to Police!)

Also a warning on how easy it was for Police to get #surveillance info from some #Life360 app on one persons mobile.

Wow - apparently *none* of the #Gardaí are #pursuit trained to same standards as officers in GB / NI (or other European countries).

How even can a country operate like that?

Folk will be constantly at the mercy of reckless drivers or outright criminals / sociopaths. I have also seen quite a few Irish tooters over the years pointing this out

Sorting this out won't be an easy task - #roads in GB were quite lawless until things got cleaned up starting around late 1990s,. #CarCulture is strong, stubborn and resilient, and older #motorists still resent limitations of their "freedom" and many vote for parties such as Reform / Restore out of spite..
