Me [inside voice]: When did it become okay to laugh at the implied violence of hitting someone with your vehicle because you wouldn't slow down when it's unsafe to drive that fast?
Me [rethinking what I said]: I needed to appeal to positive traffic safety culture, maybe point out that most people think of themselves as "good drivers" and wouldn't want to drive in a way that might kill someone.
