Changed the Ibex to a 15t sprocket today! I've only ridden a little bit but it really does feel like a different bike... Much calmer. I'm used to flipping into 2nd gear almost immediately and now I don't have to. Going 50-55 in 3rd gear blew my mind. On the highway it was wayyy less buzzy when I was 70-75.

I put a deposit down on the upcoming Ibex 950 (1000MTX). My dealership claims March-ish. I've had the 450 for about a year now and need something more highway capable since I have several long-haul trips planned 2up. The price on this one, with the features, is really hard to ignore.

This #motorcycle seems to have a surprise at every corner for me.

It obviously had been modified, but there isn’t really any paperwork with the bike so I’m still discovering new modifications. The latest ones are that I found a dyno sheet in between the pages of the owner’s manual that suggested someone squeezed over 100hp out of the engine which is probably another 15-20 over stock.

Speaking of squeezing, the front brake calipers also appear to have been upgraded, but unfortunately seem to have misplaced their stopping power. That’s the next job, trying to figure what calipers they are and if there’s a rebuild kit available.

Switched out the stock windscreen (was using it with the Puig 2.0 extender) for the WRS Enduro. Absolutely love it. Feels like I'm riding an enduro bike, almost no plastics in my field of view. And I'm finally getting clean air on me, instead of buffeting that felt like I was riding behind a 747 as soon as I got to 100kph.

Back in the saddle today, with a little dirt road riding in the Ocala National Forest, near Hopkins Prairie.

This is my first time off-pavement since fracturing my right leg in three places in late December.

I joined Team Titanium with the screws and plate added during my surgery in early January.

I’m still not 100%, but I’m good enough to get out and have a little fun 😀
