Cet engin présenté hier aux ateliers CFL à Luxembourg permet de tracter des engins moteurs (locomotives et automotrices), il est équipé d'un compresseur pour fournir de l'air pour le freinage de la rame ou de la machine, lesté de 16 tonnes et fonctionne sur batteries 100 % électrique donc. C'est un véhicule rail-route et comme on peut le voir est équipé pour remorquer des automotrices munies de l'attelage intégral "Scharfenberg" ou l'attelage standard (crochet).

La question est : combien de tonnes peut tirer ce petit engin?

This vehicle presented yesterday at the CFL workshops in Luxembourg makes it possible to tow motor vehicles (locomotive and EMUs), it is equipped with a compressor to provide air for braking the Locomotive or the EMU, weighted by 16 tonnes and operates 100% electric on batteries. It is a road-rail vehicle and as we can see is equipped to tow EMU equipped with the "Scharfenberg" coupler or the standard hook.

The question is: how many tons can this little machine pull?

🇫🇷 La visite des ateliers des CFL à Luxembourg-Bonnevoie était :

* tip top au niveau organisationel
* hyper intéressante même pour l'amateur aguerri et cheminot que je suis.
* L'occasion de voir que les CFL, malgré leur petite taille sont une entreprise publique performante, innovante, à la pointe et efficiente, n'en déplaise aux chantres néo-libéraux de l'UE et leurs discours que seule la libéralisation peut apporter du bon sur le rail en Europe.

Ainsi, tout au long de la journée, on a pu regarder les trains droit dans les yeux, sous leurs jupes et au coeur de la salle des machines. Ce ne sont que trois photos de la grosse centaine réalisée. Je tâcherai de faire un article de blog plus détaillé et publierai d'autres photos plus tard.

En outre, quelques "goodies" et un support pour smartphone qui est aussi un coussinet anti-stress gagné à la "roue de la fortune" en plus d'un bon d'achat de 5 EUR pour le Cactus Shoppi en gare.

Bref, une chouete journée à l'écart du smartphone et des réseaux et des échanges entre humains, ça fait du bien aussi de temps en temps!

En parcourant mes photos, j'ai retrouvé celles-ci issues d'un week-end spécial dans le Harz avec voyages spéciaux sur le réseau des HSB et des tramways de Halberstadt. Et évidemment, il y avait un participant pour me photographier en train de photographier. 🤣 Vingt ans déjà!

🇫🇷 Le 25 septembre 2011, une locomotive série 181.2 de DB Fernverkehr en tête d'un train IC pour Luxembourg, franchit la frontière matérialisée par le pont sur la Sûre, un affluent de la Moselle qui vient s'y jeter ici à Wasserbillig. La photo est prise depuis la rive allemande de la Moselle à Oberbillig. Les trains grandes lignes ont disparu depuis plus de dix ans remplacés par une service régional RE11 entre Luxembourg et Koblenz alors que ces IC allaient jusqu'à Norddeich Mole offrant ainsi une liaison directe avec Köln et la Ruhr notamment. Aujourd'hui, un seul train RE (qui devient IC à partir de Koblenz) atteint Düsseldorf, il est exploité par les CFL avec une automotrice KISS.

🇬🇧 on September 25, 2011, a DB Fernverkehr Class 181.2 is heading an IC-service for Luxembourg, is crossing the border marked by the bridge over the Sûre, a tributary of the Moselle which flows into it here in Wasserbillig. The photo is taken from the German bank of the Moselle in Oberbillig. Long distance services have disappeared for more than ten years, replaced by a regional RE11 service between Luxembourg and Koblenz while these ICs went/originated as far as Norddeich Mole, thus offering a direct connection with Köln and the Ruhr area in particular. Today, only one RE service (which becomes IC from Koblenz) reaches Düsseldorf, it is operated by the CFL with a KISS EMU.

🇬🇧 on September 25, 2011, a DB Fernverkehr Class 181.2 is heading an IC-service for Luxembourg, is crossing the border marked by the bridge over the Sûre, a tributary of the Moselle which flows into it here in Wasserbillig. The photo is taken from the German bank of the Moselle in Oberbillig. Long distance services have disappeared for more than ten years, replaced by a regional RE11 service between Luxembourg and Koblenz while these ICs went/originated as far as Norddeich Mole, thus offering a direct connection with Köln and the Ruhr area in particular. Today, only one RE service (which becomes IC from Koblenz) reaches Düsseldorf, it is operated by the CFL with a KISS EMU.
