Sphinx, Vallejo CA

It's our anniversary! Sphinx joined our household a month ago. She had been an outside feral, was spayed and vaccinated as such (note clipped ear).

Until she could get a vet appt., she was confined to the bathroom. After her stressful visit to the vet she got a clean bill of health and a prescription flea treatment.

For a few days she didn't leave the bathroom, was clingy. Now she's friendly and affectionate with me, not clingy.

She explores freely and is developing relationships with the other 3 cats. There's been some growling and hissing but nothing serious. Treats distract them and bring them together peacefully. I talk to each of them, tell them what's going on, why they need to work things out.

Sphinx doesn't have to be alert for danger at all times, gets food at regular intervals, and no fleas. It's fun watching her adapt.
