August 2023, my bike helmet got stolen and I reported it to the Gardaí (for crime statistics reasons). Got a phone call yesterday (!!!), could I come in and give statement. Was told that they couldn't follow up, bc there is no CCTV in the area. I beg to differ. Yellow is where my bike was parked. #opendata #OpenStreetMap

Desde La Brújula, organizamos una sesión para acercarse a OpenStreetMap, el proyecto de cartografía colaborativa y libre más grande del mundo.
La actividad se divide en tres partes:Una charla introductoria sobre la historia de OSM y sus usos
Un taller práctico con la aplicación StreetComplete (que permite contribuir al mapa resolviendo misiones desde el móvil)
Un paseo por el Parque de Aluche para editar el mapa con datos reales del entorno.
La charla tendrá lugar en la Librería Santander de Aluche.
El paseo práctico se realizará en el Parque de Aluche, a poca distancia.
No se requieren conocimientos previos, solo hace falta traer el teléfono móvil cargado además de la curiosidad.
