Sweating the sub-pixel anti-aliasing bugs so that you don't have to!
This image is from some of my debugging work on one of our upcoming MapLibre styles. I noticed that something wasn't quite right - a tiny single-pixel wide glitch on one side of some of our place-label icons. So then of course I had to track down the root cause...

Placemark is now fully open source. Birk Skyum, a MapLibre cofounder, landed a PR swapping Mapbox GL JS for MapLibre, so forks no longer need a Mapbox token to run.
As a founding member of MapLibre, this is the kind of thing we love to see. One dependency swap, and a whole tool becomes forkable by anyone.
