Een studievriend van me overtuigde me begin jaren 90 om niet te tanken bij #Shell. Shell was een belangrijke medeplichtige van het Apartheid regime in Zuid Afrika en weigerde het regime te boycotten, zelfs toen bijna de hele rest van de wereld dat deed. Und weder die EU, noch die @Bundesregierung haben ein Interesse an einer dauerhaft installierten Übergewinnsteuer. (Die schon während des Corona-bedingten Booms von Amazon & Co. vermutlich reichlich Extra-Milliarden gebracht hätte.)
Noch ein »Fun Fact« aus der Sendung: Als die EU 2022 anlässlich der russischen Ukraine-Invasion kurzzeitig eine Übergewinnsteuer einführte, gingen die 2,5 Milliarden Euro, die Deutschland aus dem Topf erhielt, »in die Haushaltskasse und wurde[n] nicht zweckgebunden, etwa zur Entlastung besonders bedürftiger Haushalte, eingesetzt.« Auch damals lag der Spritpreis deutlich über zwei Euro.

Ok, I am using #Mastui which is a #Python #application for #mastodon . I don't know if the timelines is refreshed over time, but if it does, it becomes better than #toot which is another mastodon app to use on the #shell . People use the term #Terminal but since we have open several shells inside a single terminal, I think #TUIs should be #SUIs. :D
