Wow. Burger King discontinued the impossible whopper. They were the last national burger chain with a vegetarian-friendly option, and were the ones which led the way. In 2019 @jillianmarisa
and I flew across MO to STL where they were trialing it in the early days.I just deleted my account. That was the only reason we went every now and then. Such a disappointment.

Detrás hay fondos financieros enormes y accionistas internacionales.Y aquí viene algo curioso: aunque venden hamburguesas, en realidad hoy ambas compañías ganan muchísimo dinero gracias al negocio inmobiliario.
McDonald’s especialmente perfeccionó un modelo donde compra terrenos y luego alquila los locales a sus propios franquiciados.
Mucha gente cree que es solo una empresa de comida rápida, pero durante décadas algunos analistas la describieron como una empresa inmobiliaria disfrazada de hamburguesería.La rivalidad continúa, aunque el panorama ha cambiado mucho.
Hoy compiten también contra cadenas más modernas, comida saludable, aplicaciones de reparto y consumidores que miran más ingredientes y precios.Pero aun así, pocas guerras comerciales han durado tanto ni han sido tan reconocibles.
Porque al final, detrás de cada hamburguesa barata, hay una historia enorme de ambición, marketing, dinero y egos empresariales.

Muistelin kuulleeni Tampereen Jugendtorin Friends&Burgers olleen ennen McDonaldsia Burger King. Olin käyttänyt tätä tarkistamatta esimerkkinä (mikä yleensä virhe), joten tarkistin nyt. Näin oli, vaikka kai toimi tilassa vain hetken (valtaosa kasarikuvista esittää tiloissa 1.apteekin tai Mäkin).
Seinän plakaatti muistaa mainita vain että tiloissa oli Suomen eka Mäkki, eikä että se tuli tiloihin kun oli valmiiksi rempattu hampurilaisenflippausta varten.
