Two decades of mining activities caused widespread surface and #GroundwaterContamination, and in 1999, the DEQ and Bureau of Land Management took over the site. Plants – The lungs of Earth T-shirt
Plants, the lungs of planet Earth, Scientist and Philosopher.
The natural world, the plants, the trees are the lungs of the Earth allowing the more complex living lifeforms to live and evolve. Without them or if we damage these systems too much ecosystems will start to break down. Rewilding is not just about planting any seedling anywhere because complex ecosystems have developed over centuries and millennia. In leaving these remaining wildernesses alone we must as humans leave them in peace for true rewilding and evolution to take place.

Freedom of the seas T-shirt
This is the second Scientist and Philosopher T-shirt in the Freedom of the seas – Protect our oceans series (design V2B). It is printed on an organic cotton T-shirt so hopefully lighter environmental loading than many other materials.
The seas and oceans of the world are suffering in so many ways. There’s plastic pollution and acidification. They have absorbed the majority of the heat caused by burning fossil fuels and are filled with various forms of our industrial waste. Our ships make the world beneath the waves incredibly noisy. They also kill creatures such as whales directly. All the waters are over fished subsidised with fossil fuels and some of the catch fed to herbivore farm animals. We humans have and are continuing to completely mess up this part of our small planet.
