Weil die überdimensionierten Konzerne ohne echtes Geschäftsmodell eine weltwirtschaftliche Blase aufpumpen, Mengen an Wasser & Strom vergeuden sowie kaum noch zu kontrollieren sind.
Hier eine aktuelle Mischung aus Kontrollverlust und Post - Anthropic - PR:

Did you know you can easily change application icons in Linux?
In Plasma it's straightforward through the menu editor, but you can also do it via desktop files in the terminal.
I have always loved the @librewolf icon they use on their Mastodon page. It includes the Pride flag with the Intersex and Trans Pride colors. I highly recommend swapping to it!
Quick method:
- Download the icon to somewhere you keep it, like:
~/Pictures/icons/applications/. - Copy the desktop file if it doesn't already exist in
~/.local/:cp /usr/share/applications/librewolf.desktop ~/.local/share/applications/ - Edit your desktop file:
nano ~/.local/share/applications/librewolf.desktop - Change the
Icon=line to point to your new icon path - Save and refresh the desktop database or log out and back in.
Small customization, big statement. 🏳️🌈
- Download the icon to somewhere you keep it, like:

The web client on the Principia website has been updated to latest master, with all Dear Imgui-based dialogs and networking implemented. This now means that the sandbox is fully playable (bar any remaining issues), and you can even create and upload levels directly from your browser!
The website will be updated soon to make the web version more prominent, also allowing you to configure the play buttons on level pages to either open the native client or the web client. For now, you can try out the sandbox with this link:

ClamAV è così cortese che, nonostante Debian si ostini a mantenere nei repository una vecchia versione, ci consiglia di non farci prendere dal panico, e magari di dare un'occhiata alla documentazione, che non fai mai male!

Personally, I do not use any Android apps on the #Librem5. However, you could run certain Android apps with #Waydroid, which is available in the #PureOS repository:

For calls and messages the Librem 5 is reliable for me, and they wake the phone up, also from suspend.

I really like that the Librem 5 is a full Linux handheld device where I can use all Linux commands, and have full freedom.
No AI by default on the Librem 5, no ads, focus on #privacy and #security. It also has three hardware kill switches to disable mic, camera, wifi and bluetooth, and mobile data.

A clear and concise adjustment which should remain a keystone for further thinking on that matter :

These aren’t ideological preferences; they’re practical safeguards against the next generation of vendor lock-in."
"And perhaps the hardest truth is, successful European alternatives are unlikely to come from institutions alone. They will come from communities, public-interest developers, grassroots organisations and #FOSS projects building native #openweb infrastructure from the ground up. Institutions should support that commons."
I would just add the support of some parts within the European (and beyond) business world who should be aware this growth would become mutually beneficial.

A maintainer who got 10 comments a day now gets a flood. The machine writes for free. Humans pay in the one currency that does not scale: senior attention. Whoever flips it on never feels a thing.

state of BlueZ: an issue I discovered and reported several years ago in BLE - specifically Mesh stack - can STILL be reproduced in latest version, with latest kernel 🫠
and it wasn't a minor issue. on the contrary, it effectively prevented sending any Mesh messages.
