I think I made some headway into figuring out those markings on Samsung dies. Two groups of features, organized as 4x10 each.
The first idea was, this encodes groups of hex nibbles. But there is too many zeros/ones, makes little sense.
Today I noticed each line of 10 has exactly one missing, as if punctured. So it is likely, that each line encodes a decimal digit -- so we have two groups of four digits each. But if so, what's the correspondence of digits to positions, and how do I tell which line is first, as the image can be rotated arbitrarily.
