This bill would force online services to personally get approval from the EU Commission before pushing any updates "that might effect children" (translation: all of them).
This bill would also make jail-breaking/installing alternate operating systems effectively illegal.
The EU Commission has gone completely mask off (notably Ursula, the EU Commission President). We should've seen Ursula using underhanded tactics to get CC 1.0 through as a sign of things to come. She is completely compromised.

The European Commission has proposed an incredibly draconian piece of legislation: The EU Kids Act. Leaked drafts have revealed that this is bill is closely modeled after the UK's Online Safety Act.
Among many other horrible things, some provisions feel like a direct retaliation against the Stop Killing Games movement.
This is in addition to Chat Control 2.0! Of which Parliament's debate regarding that bill will resume soon! Please mail/call your MEPs/relevant reps!
