Listening to an expert on Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy spitting fire on NPR. Fun(ish) Facts:
1. 12 seasons playing football *at any age* gives you a 50% chance of #CTE.
2. Yeah, hockey & some other sports are problems too, some of which have recognized the problem & made rule changes, some not.
I also got the idea that if they don't already, junior soccer should prohibit "heading" balls outright because it's not about concussions alone but about # of head impacts. Kids practice that.
