I'm really happy with my #linux laptop purchased on laptopwithlinux.com - the change it was like 80% faster - pretty nice for those who are starting business #startup - as OS I set #opensuse saying see you later #fedora it has been 6 years together without any complaint at all 💪 happy for #europe where we have these tech providers

Trying to get #opensuse running on a Rasp Pi 5 with an NVME, hopefully less painful than the rockchip SBCs I've previously tinkered with..

Es war ja an der Zeit, mein Dual-Boot System auf der Linux-Seite mal dem Zahn der Zeit anzupassen und 15.6 gegen 16.0 einzutauschen.
Das birgt allerdings einige Überraschungen.

Mam laptopa (Librem sprzed kilku lat). Chciałbym go wykorzystać jako drugi komputer, z którym będę mógł siąść na kanapie i przejrzeć internetową prasę, strony internetowe i Mastodona. Teraz mam na nim zainstalowanego Linux Mint. Zastanawiam się jednak, czy to dobry wybór. Kiedyś podobał mi się OpenSuse. Potrzebuję porady. Nie mam dużego doświadczenia w Linuxie. Coś wyklikam w nim, z pomocą tutoriali nawet w terminalu coś pogrzebię.

Yast Partitioner may cause permission issues if used in some ways.

Use Gparted to make partition and format your disks.

You can also use Gparted to delete all partitions on pendrives. Then do a full format. To clean infected drives.

During all operations keep Wi-Fi or LAN or Internet disconnected.

Drives that are old, dirty, grimy .... Let it soak in a small Bowl of IPA Iso Propyl Alcohol for 10 mts. Then shake dry a few times and open air dry for a day.
