Le terminal ne me fait pas peur mais ayant appris sur le tas, mes bases sont une peu floues (^_^)

Pour l’instant, j’ai :
- téléchargé #arsenik, dézipé et mis dans mon home
- téléchargé linux-binary-x64, dézipé et ai placé katana_linux_y64 dans ~/bin.

mais ensuite je ne sais pas quoi faire. Par exemple ta ligne de commande renvoie que ./katana est une commande introuvable

Trying to install Waterfox on Linux Mint and am failing.
Copy-pasting the commands from their website into terminal I get this:
The following packages have unmet dependencies:
waterfox : Depends: libxcomposite1 (>= 1:0.4.6) but 1:0.4.5-1build3 is to be installed
Depends: libxrender1 (>= 1:0.9.12) but 1:0.9.10-1.1build1 is to be installed

ich bin auf der Suche nach einem Tintenstrahldrucker, der drucken, scannen und kopieren kann und unter Linux Mint läuft. Schön wäre es, wenn die Folgekosten für Tinte etc. nicht so hoch wären und dieser auch nicht kurz nach der Garantiezeit den Geist aufgibt.

Welchen könnt ihr empfehlen?

Question #LinuxMint et #Steam : est-ce que quelqu'un a une idée de pourquoi, depuis que je suis rentré de vacances et que mon PC ma demandé un terachiée de màj, Steam fait planter Cinnamon avec un retour à l'écran de login systématique ?

Je contourne le problème en désinstallant/réinstallant Steam à chaque fois que je veux le lancer, mais c'est un tantinet agaçant.

Jedenfalls bootet er nach einem Update nach einer frischen Installation auch wieder in einen schwarzen Bildschirm und ich komme nur mit `nomodeset` weiter.

Mittlerweile bin ich beim BIOS Update angekommen. Wird aber bestimmt nichts bringen. Dann mache ich wieder einer frische Installation und werde dann erstmal keine Updates installieren. 🤷‍♂️

Europas Rückstand in Sachen Technologie for costumers ist schon frustrierend.

Je viens de passer de Mint 21.3 à Mint 22.3
J'avais déjà eu ce problème de shutdown avec Mint 22, j'avais carrément réinstallé Mint 21.3 !!
Mais là, je pensais que depuis le temps, c'était réglé.. Ben non... 😖

Le système ferme proprement, mais le courant n'est pas coupé. Il faut forcer avec un appui de 10 secondes pour éteindre le PC.

Il y a 2 partitions 22.3 sur sda2 et sda3.

J'ai même tenté un redémarrage sur un noyau plus récent
6.8 -> 6.17
Mais même sur ce noyau, le #bug persiste.

J'y ai passé la journée.
Si quelqu'un a une piste...

I have 1 iMac (Mint), 1 MacMini (LMDE), 1 MB Pro (MX Linux) and 1 MB Air (MX Linux) from 2011 and 1 MacMini (Mint) from 2014. They all work great with Linux but tbh best with Debian or Debian based distros like MX or LMDE.

Mam laptopa (Librem sprzed kilku lat). Chciałbym go wykorzystać jako drugi komputer, z którym będę mógł siąść na kanapie i przejrzeć internetową prasę, strony internetowe i Mastodona. Teraz mam na nim zainstalowanego Linux Mint. Zastanawiam się jednak, czy to dobry wybór. Kiedyś podobał mi się OpenSuse. Potrzebuję porady. Nie mam dużego doświadczenia w Linuxie. Coś wyklikam w nim, z pomocą tutoriali nawet w terminalu coś pogrzebię.
