Working on Chromebook plus. I used the Appimage. There were a couple of workarounds.1) it doesn't work with ChromeOS Wayland, so I have to run as "QT_QPA_PLATFORM=xcb NovelWriter.AppImage"
I symlink the current version to NovelWriter.AppImage so that I can upgrade and downgrade easily.
2) I had to "apt install enchant-2" to get the spellcheck to work.After that I created a .desktop file so that it appears in the ChromeOS App menu.
Chromebooks are cheap, light, and portable, and have a long battery life. You need one with the "Chromebook plus" specification to run Linux apps.

draft - on chromeos in the play store, the opera browser is a full desktop style browser when you download it from chromeos.
firefox and other browsers should do the same.
give us a full desktop level browser, or at least the option to do so when downloading from a chromebook via the play store

Decided to go with the #Penoval USI 2.0 stylus with my #LenovoDuet 3.
The pen itself feels really nice - slightly more slender than my Lenovo Pen. Love that it recharges off USB-C.
The pencil tip is also really nice.
It doesn't fit in the stylus holder, unfortunately, but it DOES magnet nicely to the crease in the back of the case.
Writes really smoothly. Haven't had it long enough to test battery life.
