#introduction — Public Fediverse posts

Starting to get the hang of the fediverse! It's been fun and so welcoming to a new alien getting stuck in and figuring things out. Thanks for sticking with me, Star Wanderers, as this little alien figures out how to fedi! 💖😍👽✨#vtuber #fediverse #learning #alien #introduction

Bloomscrolling, but you have to go outside.

PocketPetal is a small game for walks. Snap any plant you pass and it joins your collection with a random rarity, Common to Mythic. Same odds for every plant, so a sidewalk weed can outrank a rose.

The names come from image recognition and are often wrong, so the match % is always on screen and you can fix it. It's a game, not a field guide.

iPhone for now: https://pocketpetal.com

Hola XD.

ScottiCAD is a free, open-source 3D CAD program for makers and 3D printing. Drag shapes together, cut holes, group them and export for printing, or script it in a Python-like language, or let an AI agent build with it over MCP.

This is a 40:1 planetary gearbox designed in it. It prints in one piece, already assembled, with no supports.

Hi all! I’ve moved instance from @[email protected]. Figured you should do that at least once and after four years on Mastodon and a lot of following Hachydermians – why not?

My interests are primarily technology and woodworking, but the latter has faded over the last years.

I mostly post dumb stuff my brain thinks of.

Back after two years. Lovely to see familiar faces still active and posting!

I went through my old posts here and elsewhere. They read like letters from a stranger who shares my name and some of my taste. I’ve grown since, I think.

#introduction seems to be quite widely used...

Hi, I'm Adam. I'm a writer and songwriter in Granby, Massachusetts.

I write songs about the towns, farms and history of Western Mass: the cider orchards in Shelburne, the witch trial in Hadley, the old Soldiers' Home in Holyoke. Every song starts with a real story, and I tell those stories on my Substack: https://adamrsweet.substack.com

What's a local story from your town that deserves a song?

Time for a new #introduction! Hi, I'm Mary and I go by they/them pronouns. I'm a fandom writer and webmaster that's been around the internet for about ten years.

My fannish hobbies are writing fics, developing OCs, and psychoanalyzing fictional characters. Reading manga, playing videogames, watching series. Web development, web design, and web accessibility. I maintain my own websites.

I hail from the Mastodon instance sakurajima.moe. Fell off posting and wanted to start over. This is my first time using Misskey/a fork. Love the UI.

Feel free to follow and I'll follow back if our interest aligns.

Nice to meet you all! :neocat_flag_nb:

Hi @robert_guillaume, welcome on the fedivers.

Don't hesitate to use #hashtags to spread your posts.

And you can also write an #introduction, that's a nice way to be welcomed too. 🙂

Hello Mastodon. Gramlet is a daily word game I make on my own in the UK.

Everyone gets the same grid of letters each day, with only the edge showing. Each turn you claim a letter next to ones you hold, which uncovers its neighbours, and play the best word you can make from all the letters you've collected. 8 turns, one word a turn.

A new board at midnight: https://gramlet.co.uk/?utm_source=mastodon&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=mastodon-post

#introduction Hello Mastodon! I’m Carlos, an independent developer in the EU, and this is the account of Caviar, a Mac app that redacts documents and screenshots for good: every page re-rendered as an image, every black area verified pixel by pixel before export, hidden data removed, and no network connection at all.
Coming soon to the Mac App Store, free during launch. Until then: https://caviar-app.com/en
